Peter Oldani

Peter Oldani is the owner and CEO of Oldani Brothers. He and his brother Steven Oldani started Oldani Brothers in 2020 with the purchase and conglomeration of several established brands in the trophy and giftware space. These brands include Preisner Pewter, Connecticut House Pewter, Valerio Albarello, Bates & Klinke, and B&J Manufacturing. Since then, the Oldani Brothers have continued to expand and improve the product lines with their own style.

Peter graduated with honors from the University at Buffalo in 2013 with a B.S. in biomedical engineering. After graduating, he ran a research lab for 2 years before leaving to study in Hangzhou, China. From there he started his first company, Inside First Aid, with the goal of helping to advise readers on helpful products in home health care. While building Inside First Aid, Peter saw an opportunity to get involved in the silversmithing industry at the company Preisner Pewter. Preisner Pewter had been a thriving company for decades, and the craftsmen who worked there were extremely skilled, but there was very little awareness of what they could do. Peter saw an opportunity to leverage the online marketing skills he had learned through Inside First Aid to showcase what the Preisner craftsmen could do.

Working with the company, he began to realize what the company could be. Very few American silversmiths still exist, despite American silver craftsmenship dating back to the days of Paul Revere and the founding fathers. The craftsmen who still exist were aging, and young apprentices were nowhere to be found. Peter felt that the American silversmithing skillset could not be allowed to die out, and that he was in a position to build a company that could train young talent and keep American manufacturing in America. Since the start of the company in 2020, Oldani Brothers has brought on new trainees and continued to expand and develop their capabilities around the core skillset of their master craftsmen.

Peter is proud to be expanding American manufacturing and looks forward to utilizing new technology to further develop what’s possible in the silversmithing industry.
